Jonas Hagen, PhD in Physics
Complex technical challenges and simple solutions fascinate me.
I think through technical questions across disciplinary boundaries, from physics through mechanics, electronics, and control engineering all the way to the software that runs in the end. It is precisely at these interfaces that the tasks I find most appealing lie, as well as those that often fall through the cracks.
Over the past 10 years, I have been able to bring this way of thinking into industrial product development and academic research. In doing so, I created physical models and simulations, designed control algorithms, and built technology demonstrators, as well as systematically narrowing down the causes of failures in series products. Further, I was able to contribute to the success of projects with algorithms for sensor and camera calibration, optimizations of system models, or tools for data acquisition, transmission, and evaluation.
I work hands-on, solution-oriented, and share my knowledge openly. It is important to me that, in the end, a working solution is on the table and that it is also comprehensible and understandable. With Hagen Physics, I bring this combination of physics, engineering, and software to where it makes a difference.
